How Our Pricing Works

One price for the plan. Not per session.

SMP is built across two to four sessions rather than done in one go. The prices below cover your whole treatment plan — every session needed to complete the work, not a per-visit rate that adds up to something else by the end.

They’re starting prices because scalps genuinely differ. Two men with the same amount of hair loss can need noticeably different amounts of work depending on skin type, how the pigment settles, and how much contrast there is to close. What we won’t do is quote low to get you through the door and revise it once you’ve committed.

At your free consultation you’ll get a fixed figure for your specific plan, in writing, with no pressure to book on the day.

SMP Treatment Prices

Starting prices for every treatment.

Listed low to high. If you’re not sure which one describes you, send a photo and we’ll tell you honestly — people often assume they need more coverage than they actually do.

Minimal Hair Loss

Temples & Corners
From £500

For early-stage recession at the temples or corners. Pigment is placed to rebuild the impression of density and bring the hairline back to a shape that suits your face — without creating a hard edge.

Book Consultation

Female Hairline Density

Parting & Hairline
From £600

Density work between your existing hairs to close a widening parting or sparse hairline. Nothing is shaved and your styling routine is unchanged. Delivered by Leaona Marie.

Transplant Scars

FUT & FUE
From £750

Scar camouflage for linear FUT strip scars and FUE dot scarring. Pigment closes the contrast between pale scar tissue and surrounding hair, so you can go back to short clipper cuts.

Half Scalp

Front or Crown
From £750

Targeted coverage of one area — either the front and hairline, or the crown. Adds depth and density where the scalp shows through, blended into the hair you still have.

Book Consultation

Full Scalp

Total Alopecia
From £1,500

Complete coverage across the whole head, including the back and sides. For total hair loss, giving the clean, even look of a closely shaved scalp rather than the look of hair that’s gone.

Prices correct as of this page’s last update and cover the full treatment plan. Your fixed quote is confirmed at your free consultation before anything is booked. Top-ups after two to five years are quoted separately and cost considerably less than the original treatment.
What’s Included

What you get for the price.

  • Your free consultation. Unhurried, in person, with a hairline you can see before you commit to anything.
  • Every session in your plan. Typically two to four, spaced one to two weeks apart. Not charged per visit.
  • Alex’s time, start to finish. The person you meet at consultation is the person holding the machine. No handover mid-plan.
  • Written aftercare. Clear instructions for each stage of healing, not a verbal rundown you’ll half-remember.
  • An open door afterwards. If something looks off as it settles, come back and tell us.

Why Prices Vary

What moves the number up or down.

If your quote comes in above the starting price, it’ll be for one of these reasons — and we’ll tell you which at consultation rather than after.

Area Being Covered The single biggest factor. A hairline rebuild is a fraction of the work of full-scalp coverage, and pricing follows that directly.
Contrast Between Hair & Skin Very dark hair on very pale skin needs more careful layering to look natural. More layers means more chair time.
Scar Tissue Involved Scars hold pigment unpredictably, so we test first and build slowly. That caution takes extra sessions.
Skin Type & How It Holds Oily and very fair skin can both need an additional pass. We can only tell for certain once the first layer has settled.
Correcting Existing SMP Working over someone else’s result — or around pigment that’s gone blue or too solid — may need laser removal first, quoted separately.
How Much Hair You Still Have Blending into existing hair is more demanding than working on a clear scalp — it has to match what’s already there exactly.

★★★★★

Sending a big thank you to Alex. My hair looks great — so natural looking. I went for a darker look to go with my tan and it looks great in all lights. If you want a natural-looking SMP, use Alex!

— Dominic Gucci
★★★★★

Went along with my son to get his SMP. Well done Alex — a dedicated and professional young man. My son is over the moon with the results. So nice not to see him wearing caps anymore. Looks so natural. Definitely 5 stars and more.

Frequently Asked

Pricing — your questions answered.

The questions we’re asked most often about what SMP costs and what’s included.

Is the price per session or for the whole treatment?
For the whole treatment plan. SMP is built across two to four sessions, and the prices listed cover all of them — not a per-visit rate that adds up to something larger by the end. You’ll know your total before the first session, and it doesn’t change partway through.
How many sessions will I need?
Most treatment plans run to two to four sessions, spaced roughly one to two weeks apart. Larger areas, scar work, and very fair or very oily skin can need an extra pass. You’ll get a realistic session count at your consultation — not a number that creeps up once you’ve committed.
Why is it a “starting from” price rather than a fixed one?
Because scalps genuinely differ. Two people with similar-looking hair loss can need noticeably different amounts of work depending on skin type, contrast between hair and scalp, and how the pigment settles after the first pass. Quoting a single figure sight-unseen would mean either overcharging most people or revising the price later — and we won’t do the second one.
Do I pay for the consultation?
No. Consultations are free, and free of pressure to book on the day. We’d rather talk you out of a treatment that isn’t right for you than take a booking you’ll regret — you’ll leave with honest information either way.
What does a top-up cost?
Considerably less than the original treatment, since it’s refreshing existing work rather than building it from scratch. Most clients need one somewhere between two and five years in. We’ll quote it at the time based on how much the work has softened.
How long does SMP last for the money?
Typically two to five years before a top-up is worth booking. It doesn’t vanish overnight — it softens gradually, which is why it stays looking natural as it fades. Sun exposure is the biggest factor in how quickly that happens; wearing SPF on your head genuinely extends the life of the work.
I’ve had SMP elsewhere that needs fixing. What does that cost?
It depends on what’s there. Sometimes we can work over and around existing pigment; sometimes it needs lifting first with SMP laser removal, which is quoted separately. Send a photo and we’ll give you a straight assessment of which route you’re looking at before you come in.
Which price applies to me?
If you’re unsure, don’t guess — send a photo through the contact page and we’ll tell you which category you fall into. People frequently assume they need full coverage when a half scalp or hairline treatment would do the job, so it’s worth asking before you budget.
