Five days of private training with Alex, aimed at the specific things holding your work back. Not a beginner syllabus you have to sit through again, but focused development on hairlines, blending, pigment behaviour and consistency.

Most courses teach everyone the same thing because it is easier to run that way. If you already understand the fundamentals, that is five days you do not get back.
Once you have the basics, the useful questions get far more specific. Why are your impressions inconsistent? Why does a hairline look too uniform? How do you blend into existing hair without leaving a visible edge? How should pigment choice or depth change when the skin in front of you behaves differently from the last client?
The Advanced course is taught one-to-one with Alex, which means the five days can concentrate on whatever is actually affecting the quality or consistency of your work rather than following a fixed timetable.
The core content stays comprehensive. What changes is the weighting. If your hairlines read as too uniform, more time goes into hairline design. If your retention is unpredictable across skin types, that is where the days go instead.
You can bring examples of work you are unhappy with, explain exactly where you hesitate mid-treatment, and spend the course time fixing those specific things.

The time is not split equally for the sake of a timetable. We agree the weighting before you arrive, based on what you tell us at your consultation call.
You can apply, but the pace is faster and the course expects more self-direction than the group route. If you need a full beginner foundation, Group SMP Fundamentals is usually the clearer starting point. Talk to us first and we will tell you honestly which one fits.
The course includes a complete model from start to finish across all three sessions. That gives you the chance to see how the work settles, and to make your later decisions using the healed result rather than only the immediate appearance.
At advanced level this is the whole point. Refinement is not about making cleaner impressions in the moment. It is about understanding how your choices affect retention, density and the finished result over time, which is something you can only learn by seeing the same head develop across a full cycle.
You bring one live model for the practical sessions. If you genuinely cannot source one after trying, contact us before the course and we will discuss the options with you.
Everything below is part of the course fee. There are no add-ons you find out about later.
A 20% deposit secures your agreed dates. The balance is due 28 days before training starts. Private dates are not dependent on group demand.
The questions that matter most tend to arrive weeks later, when a real case presents something the course did not cover.
Direct access to Alex for a full year after training. When a real client presents a challenge you have not seen before, you have somewhere to take it rather than guessing and hoping.
Three sessions back at the Halesowen studio, where you can watch live work, talk through treatment decisions and keep developing once the intensive days are behind you.
Complete the enquiry form and explain your current background and what you do now.
We discuss your experience, your goals, and the specific areas you want to refine. This is what sets the weighting of the course.
The advanced course is one-to-one, so it does not depend on group demand. Dates are arranged around mutual availability.
Pay a 20% deposit, with the remaining balance due 28 days before the course starts.
