What It Is

The simplest way to deal with small skin blemishes.

Lesion removal at Hair Savvy Studio uses targeted advanced cosmetic technology to lift small, superficial blemishes off the skin’s surface — quickly, cleanly, and without the recovery time of surgical alternatives. Most appointments are wrapped up in well under an hour.

The blemishes people typically book us for are the everyday cosmetic ones — skin tags catching on collars and jewellery, milia that won’t shift, age spots and small pigmented marks that have built up over the years, broken capillaries, and similar minor surface lesions.

What we don’t do is treat anything that ought to see a doctor first. Every consultation starts with an honest assessment, and if a mark looks like it warrants a GP or dermatologist opinion, we’ll say so before booking anything.

Important — Cosmetic Treatment Only

This is a cosmetic service for benign, surface-level blemishes only. We do not diagnose, biopsy or treat suspicious moles, growths that are changing in size, shape or colour, or anything you have medical concerns about. If a lesion looks unusual or has changed recently, please see your GP first — and bring written sign-off from your doctor or dermatologist before booking treatment with us. We’ll always ask you to do this if there’s any doubt at consultation.

What We Treat

The cosmetic blemishes we work on.

A focused list — these are the blemishes we treat regularly and confidently. Anything outside this list is a conversation, not a guaranteed booking.

Skin Tags Small, soft growths that catch on clothing or jewellery — most often on the neck, underarms and eyelids.
Milia Tiny white cysts that sit just under the skin, often around the eyes — stubborn against creams and squeezing.
Age Spots & Pigmentation Flat brown or grey patches caused by years of sun exposure — typically on the face, hands and chest.
Cherry Angiomas Small, bright red raised dots — harmless but unwelcome when they pop up on visible skin.
Broken Capillaries / Thread Veins Tiny visible blood vessels close to the skin’s surface — usually on the cheeks, nose or legs.
Seborrhoeic Keratoses Raised, waxy, brown patches that often appear with age — common but bothersome on the face and body.

A clean, calm place to be treated.

Modern, immaculate, and properly clinical — exactly the environment a cosmetic treatment should be done in.

Why Hair Savvy

The simple reasons clients choose us.

Lesion removal isn’t a treatment to take lightly, and not every cosmetic clinic handles it with the care it deserves. The feedback we hear most often comes down to four things:

Treatment is delivered by Alex personally — never delegated mid-session.
We screen properly, and we’ll send you to a doctor if that’s the right call.
The studio is modern, immaculate and properly clinical in its standards.
Pricing is honest and given up front — you know what you’re paying before any work starts.
Frequently Asked

Lesion removal — your questions answered.

Is it painful?
For most clients, no — discomfort is mild and brief. The sensation is often described as a quick warm prickle. Where helpful, we apply a topical numbing cream before treatment to keep things as comfortable as possible.
Will it leave a scar?
The aim is always minimal marking, and most small cosmetic lesions heal cleanly with no visible trace. Larger or deeper lesions can occasionally leave a faint mark while the skin settles — we’ll always be honest with you about realistic expectations during your consultation.
Can you remove moles?
We do not remove moles. Moles can need medical assessment, and a cosmetic clinic isn’t the right place for them. Always see a GP or dermatologist for any mole concerns, including changes in size, shape, colour or sensation.
What happens if a lesion isn’t suitable for cosmetic removal?
We’ll tell you honestly during your consultation, and we won’t book the treatment. Sometimes that means recommending you see your GP first, or sending you to a dermatologist. We’d rather lose a booking than treat something we shouldn’t.
How quickly will it heal?
Most small lesions form a tiny scab within a day or two, which lifts off naturally over the following one to two weeks. Bigger areas may take a little longer. You’ll get full written aftercare instructions to support the healing process.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the type, number and size of lesions being treated. We’ll give you a clear, all-in quote at the end of your free consultation — no surprises, and no pressure to book on the day.
Is there anyone who can’t have this treatment?
Yes — we’ll go through this properly at consultation. Common reasons we wouldn’t proceed include pregnancy, certain skin conditions in the treatment area, recent sun exposure or tanning, certain medications, or any lesion that warrants medical assessment first. We screen carefully because it matters.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes — every consultation is free, and properly free of pressure. We’d rather talk you out of a treatment that isn’t right for you than book you in. You’ll always leave with honest, useful information.
